User Agreement
The terms you accept by using this experimental space — written to be read, not just signed. This is the agreement that governs your access to and use of the Bunkros Identity Lab, and it sets out what you can expect from us and what we ask of you in return.
By accessing or using the Lab, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by every term in this Agreement. If you do not agree with all of these terms, you must not use the Lab and should discontinue access immediately. We have tried to keep the language clear — but where a clause is legally precise, it is precise on purpose, to protect both you and us.
Eligibility
The Lab is built for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use or register for it. Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to access the Lab, create an account, or submit any content, and we will close accounts where we learn this requirement has not been met.
By using the Lab, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age to form a binding contract with us, that the information you provide about yourself is accurate, and that you meet all of the eligibility requirements set out in this Agreement. This is an experimental space that deals with identity, self-reflection, and adult themes, and the age requirement exists to keep it appropriate and safe for everyone in it.
What the Lab Is — and Its Experimental Nature
The Bunkros Identity Lab is a space for creative exploration, self-reflection, and education. The tools, AI interactions, prompts, glossaries, and content you find here are experimental and intended for personal, non-commercial use. They are designed to help you ask better questions about yourself, not to deliver verdicts.
Because the Lab is experimental, it changes. Features may appear, evolve, or be removed; AI outputs vary and can be wrong; and the experience you have today may differ from the one you had last month. We share works in progress on purpose, and we ask you to treat them as starting points for your own thinking rather than finished, authoritative products.
The Lab is not a substitute for professional medical, psychiatric, psychological, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing here is a clinical assessment. Always seek the guidance of a qualified health provider with any questions about a medical or mental-health condition, and never disregard or delay professional advice because of something you read or generated in the Lab. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line.
User Conduct and Responsibilities
The Lab works because the people in it treat it, and each other, with care. You agree to use the Lab's tools ethically, lawfully, and in good faith. Specifically, you agree not to:
- Use the Lab for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, or in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
- Harm, manipulate, deceive, threaten, harass, stalk, or intimidate any person, inside or outside the Lab;
- Use insights, outputs, or other people's shared content for judgment, exploitation, blackmail, outing, or any other malicious end;
- Engage in automated use of the system — scripts, bots, scrapers, or similar — to send messages, generate content, or extract data;
- Deploy data-mining, robots, crawlers, or similar gathering and extraction tools against the Lab;
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise discover the source code or underlying models of the Lab;
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features, rate limits, or access controls; or
- Interfere with, disrupt, overload, or place an undue burden on the Lab or the networks and infrastructure connected to it.
You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account, and for keeping your login credentials confidential. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, tell us promptly so we can help secure it.
Intellectual Property Rights
Unless otherwise indicated, the Lab and everything that makes it work are our property or licensed to us. This includes the source code, databases, functionality, software, site design, text, graphics, audio, video, and the Bunkros names, logos, and marks (together, the "Content" and the "Marks").
The Content and the Marks are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. They are provided "as is" for your information and personal, non-commercial use only. Nothing in this Agreement grants you a right to copy, reproduce, republish, sell, license, or otherwise commercially exploit any part of the Lab without our prior written permission. The one important exception is your own content, which is covered next.
Your Content and Your Ownership
You are solely responsible for the journals, notes, reflections, answers, and other materials you create within the Lab (your "User Content"). You should only share what you are comfortable entrusting to an experimental platform, and you should keep your own copies of anything that matters to you.
You retain all ownership rights to your User Content. By creating it in the Lab, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and reproduce that content solely to operate and provide the Lab's services to you — for example, to save your journal so you can return to it, or to show your results back to you. This license exists only to run the service for you; it ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we are briefly required to keep for backups or by law. We do not use your User Content to advertise to you or sell it to anyone.
How We Use Your Data
The Lab is personal by design, which means it works with information about you. Our guiding rule is simple: we use your data to personalize your experience — to make the Lab relevant and reflective — but we deliberately refuse to hyper-personalize. We do not build permanent psychological dossiers, track you across the web, sell your profile, or use manipulative targeting to keep you engaged.
The full detail of what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of this Agreement. We strongly encourage you to read it.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Lab is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis, and your use of it is at your sole risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, in connection with the Lab and your use of it, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We make no warranty that the Lab will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the content and outputs are accurate, reliable, or complete. AI-generated material in particular can be mistaken, biased, or misleading, and you should verify anything important before you rely on it.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither we nor our directors, employees, or agents will be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost revenue, loss of data, or loss of goodwill — arising from your use of the Lab, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, our total liability to you for any cause whatsoever, and regardless of the form of the action, will at all times be limited to the amount, if any, you paid to us. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you; in that case our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by law.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless — including our affiliates and our respective officers, agents, partners, and employees — from and against any loss, damage, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable legal fees and expenses, made by any third party arising out of:
- Your use of the Lab;
- Your breach of this User Agreement;
- Any breach of the representations and warranties you make in this Agreement; or
- Your violation of the rights of a third party, including intellectual-property or privacy rights.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement and your use of the Lab are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, applicable to agreements made and performed within the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any legal action of whatever nature brought by either you or us will be commenced and prosecuted in the courts located in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction and waive any objection based on lack of personal jurisdiction or inconvenient forum. Nothing here removes any mandatory protection the law of your country of residence gives you as a consumer.
Termination
You may end this Agreement at any time by deleting your account and discontinuing use of the Lab. When you do, we delete your account data on the timeline described in the Privacy Policy.
We may, in our reasonable discretion, suspend or terminate your access — and remove content that violates these terms — if you breach this Agreement, put other users or the platform at risk, or where we are required to by law. Where it is appropriate and lawful to do so, we will try to give you notice. The sections of this Agreement that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and indemnification) will continue to apply.
